2024 Sutton Cricket Club Annual Dinner

The annual dinner and awards presentation of Sutton Cricket Club for the year 2024 will be held on Friday, 12th April in the Clubhouse. The evening will commence with canapés and beverages served from 6.30pm, followed by dinner at 7.15pm. The Dress Code is Smart Casual.

We are delighted to announce that Steven Elworthy MBE, Chief Executive Officer of Surrey County Cricket Club, will be joining us as our distinguished guest speaker.
Steven Elworthy, a former cricketer hailing from South Africa, has an impressive background in cricket. Following his retirement from the sport, he moved into cricket administration, working with Cricket South Africa and the England and Wales Cricket Board. Notably, Steven was a vital member of the South Africa team that secured victory in the 1998 ICC Knock Out Trophy.
Prior to his role at Surrey, (appointed September 2021,) he held the position of Managing Director: Events and Special Projects at the ECB and also served as the Managing Director of the ICC World Cup 2019. In recognition of his outstanding contributions to cricket, he was bestowed with an MBE in 2018.

During the evening, there will be a raffle and a ‘Heads & Tails’ competition, so we kindly request you to bring some cash with you.
