For those who don’t already know, Single Wicket is the Sutton CC version of ‘last man standing’, where playing members compete against each other in a knockout competition to win the coveted Single Wicket award and their name etched into the board forever.

In years gone by, Single Wicket was the focal point of the season, where players across all the XIs would play against each other in a fiercely-contested matches, with a few upsets to keep things interesting along the way. It is a wonderful way to bring the club together as the season draws to a close, and this year the event will feature: –

• £12 Match fees which include Match fees and Food
• Charity raffle (Donations welcome.)
• Bar promotions
• Men’s and woman’s competitions are for over 16 year olds, and are a separate event.

We have opted to hold the event on a Bank Holiday Sunday, giving time to recover, (from whatever) on Bank Holiday Monday!

• This is a perfect chance to throw your hat into the ring and have a go against fellow members.
• Bring the family down and make a cracking day of it.
