With his 107-run knock against Indian Gymkhana for the Sunday 1st XI last weekend, 16-year old
Sam Woods joins other 2009 century-making senior colts, 17-year olds,
Max Thoburn and
Callan Smith. Max made his ton (123) in the mid-week fixture against Lingfield & Newchapel CC, whilst Callan made his (128) during the 4th XI league match against Selsdon CC.
Meanwhile, 17-year old
Dan Edwards heads the
adult run
scoring table with a total so far of 791 runs for the year. When was the last time a senior colt scored 1000 for the club in a season? Dan looks well on the way.
On the adult bowling front, 17-year old
Tom Hatton sits proudly at number 2 in the club's top ten wicket takers for the season so far, with a total of 36 victims; while 13-year old
Harry Allen is in 3rd spot with a total of 30. 17-year old
Tommy Bosher is in 6th spot with 26 wickets.
Well done all of you and here's to more success in the second half of the season.
