There are changes in the playing format for most Surrey Championship divisions for this coming season. Below, the various formats and start times etc, are set out.

Premier and First Divisions 1^st XI:
- 50 over matches under limited overs rules to be played in Rounds 1 - 4 and 14 - 18:
  - Start time 11.30am except for matches in Rounds 15 – 18 where start time is brought forward to 1100am.
- 120 over ‘time’ matches to be played in Rounds 5 – 13 incl:
  - Start time 11.30am in all these matches.

Divisions Two and Three 1^st XI:
- 50 over matches under limited overs rules to be played in Rounds 1 - 4 and 14 - 18:
  - Start 1200 noon in all these matches.
- 100 over ‘time’ matches to be played in Rounds 5 – 13 incl:
  - Start time 1.00pm in all these matches.

Divisions Four and Five 1^st XI, all six 2^nd XI Divisions and the Premier Division of the 3^rd XI League:
- 50 over matches under limited overs rules to be played in Rounds 1 - 4 and 14 - 18:
  - Start time 1.00pm except matches in Rounds 15 – 18 where start time is brought forward to 1200 noon.
- 100 over ‘time’ matches to be played in Rounds 5 – 13 incl:
  - Start time 1.00pm in all these matches.

Divisions One and Two of the 3^rd XI League:
- No change from last season. All matches will be played as 100 over ‘time’ matches starting at 1.00pm except matches in Rounds 15 – 17 where start time is brought forward to 1230pm.

PLEASE NOTE: Playing Conditions for the 50 over matches under limited overs rules are currently being finalised following receipt of the votes at AGM and will be circulated as soon as possible.
