Hey all,

Well what a couple of weeks I have had, mixed in with a few days work here and there I have had two or three of the best days for enjoyment I have had for a while.

It was Jamie's Birthday last Friday and to celebrate me, Dave, Jamie (obviously) and Maisey went to see Calvin Harris play at a bar in the city Friday night. Before this though I finished work unexpectedly early so I joined J and Dave in having a couple of drinks in St Kilda before meeting Maisey at the Casino where unfortunately he wasn't that successful at poker and involved me sledging one of the other players because she was talking a good game! I thought it was funny at the time but she didn't like it.

Anyway so we went off and had an awesome dancing session at the gig and what we learnt from that was Jamie and Dave are the sweatiest people alive. This was followed by a victory in our cricket match which is one of the best games of cricket I have been involved in. Chasing 283 we were looking good at 150-0 with 30 overs to go, then slow run rate caused us to make it a close finish and we won off the last ball with the scores tied. I and Campbell made quick 15-20s, Jamie didn’t trouble the scorers but was pretty unlucky and Maisey was 20 odd not out including a massive 6 in the second to last over!

This meant without doubt we went out that night to celebrate, beer was drunk, music was danced to and I strolled in at a lazy 5am. The day after we had a friends 40th to go to in the city and it was just a case of topping up from the night before as it was a free bar and food! After that we went to the end of the St Kilda festival where they have live bands and amusements spread over the area....so you guessed it more drinking and dancing was done and had a slightly earlier finish at 3am.

This week I have a few days of work and then I and Jamie are off to Adelaide to visit Macca and Mace where we will watch Aus v India and then we are going shark diving at Neptune Island and i'm going to catch me a bign!
