We lose final tour match by 4 runs! (March 09, 2008)
Sunday 9th March 2008 v. Sporting Alfas. Friendly at Columbus Oval (Albir, Spain)
 
Sporting Alfas CC won by 4 runs!  SA CC 229-7 off 40; (Siefers 3-35, Metz 2-43.)  Sutton CC 225-7 off 40; (Liddiard 71, Metz 44, M Lewsis 30.)
 
Sutton lost the third and final game of their Spanish tour by 4 runs on Sunday on another warm day (23 degrees)!  Sporting Alfas Sunday scored 229-7 off their 40 overs with Andy Siefers (3) and Aaron Metz (2) among the wickets.  In reply, Sutton scored 225-7 with Paul Liddiard (71), Aaron Metz (44) and Matt Lewis (30) top scoring.
 
A good competitive game to complete our annual, most enjoyable, friendly mini-tour.  Weather superb!  Enjoy the trip back lads - 80mph winds are great flying conditions!!
 
Sporting Alfas CC are planning to visit Sutton CC in the summer of 2009.
