The 49 Club offers Sutton Cricket Club members an opportunity to help build-up a fund earmarked only for the long-term development of our Colts section, where one of the main aims is to establish a Sutton CC Academy. The scheme is described below:-
1... Participants:
Any adult member of Sutton Cricket Club may take part. A member's adult family members or friends may also be included.
2... How the 49 Club works:
Each player is allocated one or more ball number(s) between 1 and 49 inclusive, upon the club receiving the appropriate entry fee.
Each week the player holding the same number as the Bonus Ball drawn in Saturday's National Lottery will receive a prize. This will be paid by cheque at the end of each month in which the draw takes place.
The total prize money each week will be 25/49th of the total paid by players for that week, plus any rollover from the previous week.
If no player holds the winning number, three-quarters of that week's prize money will rollover and be added to the following week’s prize money.
Each week a notice will be displayed in the clubhouse during the season and throughout the year on this website, indicating the winner and the prize money. Click here for the latest notice.
3...Players' Contributions:
For each ball number allocated, that player makes a donation to Sutton Cricket Club of:
· Option 1: £13 for 13 weeks;
· Option 2: £25 for 26 weeks;
· Option 3: £50 for 52 weeks.
Payment is welcome by cheque, or cash.
Each year runs from the first Saturday in April, (e.g. 2008 is April 5th,) to the last Saturday in March. Thus payment must be received before that first Saturday in April.
4...How to Join:
