PLEASE NOTE THAT SUTTON CRICKET CLUB IS NOW POSITIONED WITHIN THE GREATER LONDON ULEZ BOUNDARY (from 29th August 2023).

We are proud to have two separate grounds at Sutton CC and these are our Main Ground and Holmwood Close.

Main Ground

Our main ground is located: Gander Green Lane, Sutton, Surrey, SM1 2EH 

Directions

By Car:

The following instructions will guide you to the cricket club from the M25. Exit the M25 at junction 8 and head north on the A217 for about 15 to 20 minutes. Do not follow the signs for Sutton but continue via the A217 until you reach a set of traffic lights where the A232 crosses. At this point, move to the right lane and turn right onto the A232 (Cheam Road) towards Sutton. [NOTE: you are now entering the ULEZ zone.] After driving for about 0.25 miles, you will come to a mini roundabout. Take the first exit into Gander Green Lane and look for the entrance to the cricket club on your right after about 75 yards.

By Rail:

The ground in Gander Green Lane can be reached by Thameslink trains that stop at West Sutton railway station, which is about 1/3 mile away. From the station exit, turn left and walk along Gander Green Lane until you see the cricket ground. Alternatively, you can use Sutton or Cheam mainline stations, which are both about 3/4 mile away from the ground.

By Bus:

If you want to get to the ground by bus, you have a few options. The 413 Hoppa service goes along Gander Green Lane from Cheam Road and can drop you off anywhere on that road if you ask. You can catch this bus from Sutton Town centre, where it departs from outside the main post office. Alternatively, you can take the 151 or 213 routes, which run along Cheam Road from both Sutton Town centre, and Cheam Broadway. These buses stop near the ground in both directions (Gander Green Lane/Cheam Road bus stops.)

The Grounds:

The cricket club and Welcome Gym are two of the facilities that are accessible on the grounds. They have separate main entrances, but you can park your car in the same car park for both of them. To find the cricket club follow the signs to the main entrance that show the club’s name and logo. You can also see a sign for Sutton United FC at the junction of Gander Green Lane and Cheam Road, but that is a different organisation, about 1/3 of a mile walk down Gander Green Lane.
