Congratulations to Sutton CC's U15 Surrey players, Sam Woods, Josh Allen and Elliot Daly, who are this winter attending the county's first 'Emerging Player Programme', (EPP.,) an ECB initiative to foster the development of future First Class/England potential within the counties.
The programme entails intensive and specialist coaching for the age group 13 – 16 year old boys and/or girls with outstanding talent, including the areas of technical training, mental application, dietary and fitness amongst others. The EPP is in addition to the boys' County U15 squad training, which begins in February next year, and in which Charlie Dennis and Josh Taylor, other Sutton U15 colts, are also members.
Well done boys, and good luck for the 2008 season.
